Carlina Patricia Sanchez Urruchurtu
Carlina was born in the beautiful and warm Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, where she spent her childhood walking and playing among the narrow streets of the old colonial and historic center. Her appreciation for architecture was cultivated by the magnificence of Hispanic architecture, and her love for art was inspired by the breathtaking sunsets facing the Caribbean Sea. Painting has been a part of her life for as long as she can remember, and she has dedicated a significant portion of her life to the self-taught study of art. In 2007, she had the opportunity to study urban planning in Paris with her architect husband, which ultimately led her to pursue a career in interior design. She worked with her husband through trial and error until she moved to Canada to realize her dream. Today, Carlina takes pride in being an interior decorator for one of the top institutions in Canada, Sheridan College.
