Personal Bio: Maria Paula Cano Mendoza was born in Bogotá, Colombia. From a young age, she was passionate about art and color, always incorporating them into her schoolwork. Driven by her dream of becoming an architect, she received unwavering support from her parents and older brother. She decided to pursue her university studies at the University of Waterloo, but due to life circumstances, she chose to stay in Colombia. She began her studies in architecture in 2017 and completed them in 2021. Upon finishing her degree, she joined the design studio AGRA, where she completed her internship and gained experience in design and architecture for two years.

Later, in the following year, she started working at the Totem construction company, where she honed her skills in project management and decision-making on-site. During her time at Totem, Maria Paula Cano Mendoza realized her desire to expand her professional horizons. In late 2023, she decided to take a new direction and embark on her journey to Canada, aiming to improve and grow professionally. She enrolled at Sheridan College to study Interior Decorating, a challenging program filled with practical teachings that have shaped her as an interior decorator.

During her time at Sheridan College, Maria Paula Cano Mendoza has shown great effort and dedication, working as a waitress while continuing her studies. With a passion for both modern and historical arts and a love for drawing and watercolor, she seeks to convey impactful messages through her designs. Filled with curiosity about new technologies and art history, Maria Paula Cano Mendoza hopes to positively impact her future clients with her designs, leveraging her ability to convey messages through images. Her career is marked by effort, dedication, and a constant pursuit of excellence in the field of interior decoration.
